Zach Buchanan
As a native West Virginian raised in the mountains, Zach developed expertise in hunting, fishing, trapping, whitewater guiding, and outdoor appreciation. Currently, he serves as an instructor for the Department of Defense and is a US Army combat veteran. Zach's vision was to create a community where Veterans and First Responders could come together, support one another, and remind each other that they are not alone. This vision became a reality in October 2022, while sitting in a duck blind. Given the high rate of suicide in these career fields, Welcome Home Outfitters aims to empower these heroes by providing unforgettable hunting experiences, facilitating difficult transitions, and fostering a sense of community and gratitude. Zach is grateful to offer not only guided waterfowl hunting, turkey hunting, and fishing services but also monthly events to bring these communities together.
Andy Hoyer
Andy Hoyer is a police officer, licensed captain, and outdoor enthusiast with 25 years of waterfowl experience. He enjoys deer and turkey hunting, but waterfowl hunting is his true passion. From setting the spread to watching the dogs work, he loves every aspect of it. Andy is dedicated to wildlife conservation, whether it’s trapping predators, improving habitats, or planting food plots, to ensure future generations can enjoy the outdoors. He also has a fishing addiction, from bluegills to tuna, with watching a large tuna hit a popper being his greatest thrill. Sharing his passion, especially with his daughter Avery, is a highlight of his life. One of his most memorable hunts has been sharing the experience with others. As a police officer, former volunteer fireman, and EMT, safety is always his priority. He believes the best memories are made in the field, not just from the harvest but from witnessing nature and forging friendships. Andy respects military personnel and first responders and has been part of Hunters Helping Heroes, witnessing the power of the outdoors for physical and mental well-being. Being part of Welcome Home Outfitters allows him to share that healing experience on a larger scale. Whether it's geese, divers, puddlers, or fish, Andy looks forward to guiding you to unforgettable memories.
Hunter Senoff
Hunter Senoff is a licensed captain, Coast Guard veteran, and respected waterfowl hunting expert. With over 20 years of experience and 5 years as a professional guide, he is known for creating unforgettable hunting adventures. His safety-first approach and dedication to fair chase hunting provide an environment where everyone can responsibly target trophy birds. Beyond hunting, Hunter is committed to conservation and believes hunters play a vital role in preserving wildlife and their habitats. He supports sustainable practices and initiatives to protect ecosystems for future generations. As a veteran and licensed captain, Hunter joins Welcome Home Outfitters to offer safe, fun outdoor experiences, particularly for fellow veterans. His goal is to connect veterans with nature’s healing power, fostering camaraderie and well-being. Whether guiding hunters, mentoring new sportsmen, or advocating for conservation, Hunter exemplifies respect, responsibility, and adventure. His career reflects his love for wildlife, dedication to community, and commitment to giving back.
Jake Satterlee
The son of a veteran and New Jersey native, Jacob grew up spending most of his time in the woods hunting and fishing with his dad. Deer hunting is where it all started but he quickly grew a passion for waterfowl and upland bird hunting. From prepping the blinds to setting the spread he finds joy in every minute of it. Especially when he can help share that joy with others within the community. Even while living and working full time in New York City for a nonprofit focusing on community policing, first responders, and mental health support, he takes every chance he can get to come down and help out with Welcome Home Outfitters. While he enjoys spending time behind the gun, running dogs, and calling in the birds, he also has a passion for photography and film. Through Welcome Home Outfitters he uses this passion to photograph and film our hunts. This allows us to share our story and hunts with our supporters and members of the community through social media.
